BEHIND THE LENS
Ron Salkind Meliment, a native of New Jersey,
is a twenty-five year veteran of the music industry. During those years, he developed an interest in various forms of photography. Now living in Maryland, he continues to work in the medium, specializing in "Digital" and "Polaroid Time-Zero Manipulations" focusing on urban and country landscapes of the southwest, east coast, and abroad. His images are printed on only the finest of watercolor paper using archival inks to ensure the sharpest and brightest colors. Ron's works have been displayed in shops and galleries across the country. Enjoy!

The Silicon Difference Silicon was founded upon a unique collaborative printmaking model established by a handful of fine arts workshops and presses in the United States. While the tools at Silicon are digital, the philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that it is the chemistry between the artist and the printmaker that results in the finest work.This relationship is very dynamic and allows for new ideas to constantly emerge throughout the process. We can print up to 64" wide on a wide range of paper canvas and other exotic materials. We also offer a comprehesive pressure mounting and laminating service.
